The workshop is open to anybody who is concerned with the possibilities of interaction between sound, space and listening.

The main aim of the workshop is to offer, through direct experience, a wide range of listening techniques in order to lead participants to relate to sound as concrete presence, a material vibration that affects both self and space perception.

The workshop has been presented, amongst others, to the Drama Department, University of Exeter, UK; Department of Contemporary Dance, Concordia University, Montréal, Canada; Master in Scenography, CSSD, London, UK.

Soundstorming is a sound walk that guides participants through various sound locations and inhabited contexts. The walk functions as a mobile playground for collaborative experiments with sound.

Soundstormers stop the walk and intervene sonically whenever they find an interesting location, whether it is an abandoned building, a construction site, or a rural space. Urban furniture, acoustic affordances and sound devices constitute the basic toolkit of each soundstormer for prototyping and designing fast interventions and installations.
