I Notasi inoi is a non-linear composition that requires a behavior score to be followed during the listening phase.
Thanks to eight different interactive listening modalities between user and sound, the user puts into order the sequence of eight modular fragments that the work has been previously subdivided into, and organizes the diffusion of sound exploring the sound-space dynamics of the specific context he or she is in.
The listener acts directly upon two planning cooperation levels. Organizing the succession of sonic events, s/he takes part in the composition of the writing process. Through the integration of extra-diegetic voices, testing the environment, the direction and the acoustic reflections, the listener is also able to organize the sound projection and to relate to it.
The sound-meaning transposition and the subsequent personalization of the receptive experience create a renewal in the traditional modalities of artistic fruition. The composer moves the work away from the last solution calibrated synthetically in the studio, opening its expressive horizon, and favoring all the possible modulations of this experience. The role of the listener is an active one, and it resembles that of an accomplice composer, a co-composer who also becomes responsible for the sound re-production conditions.
