Design for Listening focuses on the act of listening as a way to discover the sonic identity of everyday objects and scenarios. The workshop is open to designers, researchers, and people working in the creative industries.

Through a specially designed programme, which includes listening exercises and “earstorming” techniques, participants gain awareness of their listening potential and begin thinking about sound as a resource for creative practice and inspiring research tool.

Participants are invited to generate sound concepts and create prototypes whose features and attributes play a decisive role in shaping listening behaviours and characterizing human-sound interaction.
