Luoghi d’Ascolto Workshop, NABA, Milan

I teach a workshop on listening-and-the-city at the Design Course of the New Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, 19>28 October 2011. Together with the students, we look for meaningful listening places and structures in the city and design listening strategies in relation to body posture and position in space.

The workshop is open to anybody who is concerned with the possibilities of interaction between sound, space and listening.

The main aim of the workshop is to offer, through direct experience, a wide range of listening techniques in order to lead participants to relate to sound as concrete presence, a material vibration that affects both self and space perception.
